Everything to play for, everything to lose. – both sides knew their season could turn on this very game. And in the end, there could only be one winner. Hammersmith and Fulham Rugby: News: Chairman's December Report
The 1st XV unfortunately lost all three games this month, which means they will have to win a large majority of their remaining games, if they are to stay in the London North One League next season. The team is playing well in patches, but need to reproduce this high standard of play throughout the remaining games left in the season. Hopefully some of the large number of 1st XV players on the injury list will be returning to full fitness in the next few weeks, to strengthen squad for the final push up the league table, which Mark Blyghton aspects in the next few months. read more

Hammersmith and Fulham Rugby: Match report: 2011-12-10 (5th XV vs. SODAM)
On a chilly Saturday in December, the happy Hammers congregated in Hurlingham Park for their last home match of 2011. Ed Spooner appeared all pumped up after a fun run from Wandsworth. While the rest of us carried on our usual casual warm up, Ed was like a greyhound out of the blocks, joyfully bounding around after the ball and running some truly great lines. Meanwhile Paul arrived on that cold afternoon fully prepared, minus socks, hair and his 7s t-shirt. The pundits expected a high quality, high velocity performance from the Hammers. read more
